Lately is a minimal portfolio Webflow template for designers, developers and design engineers. A sticky bio panel, a video-first CMS feed, case study pages and a journal, with light and dark mode and fully editable interactions.
Lately began as a working design engineer's portfolio and was rebuilt for Webflow, so every detail comes from real use. Projects open in a dialog without leaving the page, videos play only while they're on screen, and small hover surprises reward visitors who look closely. Everything stays editable in the Designer, from colors and fonts to every interaction.
Built on Variables: Colors and fonts live in Webflow Variables. Change a color or the body font once and the whole site follows.
Light and dark mode: The Colors collection has a Dark mode. The header toggle switches it and remembers each visitor's choice.
Client-First and Components: Clear, readable class names, and a navbar and footer you edit once as Components.
Scroll reveals and hover labels are native Webflow interactions powered by GSAP, so you can change timing, distance or easing in the Interactions panel. A welcome screen, a project dialog with arrows and shareable links, a live world clock, cursor brackets, Lenis smooth scroll and a blog contents list with reading progress all run from one documented script in the footer code. Visitors who prefer reduced motion get instant transitions. The Instructions page lists every effect and how to turn it off.
Project videos take any public .mp4 link. The Instructions page shows how to host them for free on Cloudflare R2.

Use the Preview in Designer option to make any edits to the template pages and preview how the layout would fit your content. Changes in preview mode won't be saved.
It isn't possible to apply a template to an already existing project. Instead, you'll need to create a new project based on the Template.
With a Core plan (or higher), you can export sites you build in Webflow, including templates, to host them anywhere you'd like.
Webflow templates are only available for purchase through Workspaces and legacy individual accounts.
CMS templates are designed to use the power of the Webflow CMS. It is possible to downgrade to a Basic Site Plan as long as all CMS content is deleted from the project.
Use the View Connections tool to understand where the CMS content is on the site and delete any dynamic listings and CMS content. We also recommend you to check Components and the Collection page Templates.
Ecommerce templates are designed to use the power of Webflow Ecommerce. It is not possible to remove Ecommerce from a template, however, deleting all Ecommerce Products and Categories from the project, will allow to select a lower Site Plan.
Membership templates are designed to use the power of Webflow Membership. It is not possible to remove Memberships from a template.
