GiveWave is a donation website template for nonprofits and charities. Campaigns, programs, events and a volunteer sign-up, with a donation flow and CMS collections for blog posts and events.

Nonprofit websites have two jobs that pull in different directions: explain the work well enough to be believed, and make giving take seconds. GiveWave is a donation website template that separates them, with programme and campaign pages carrying the explanation and a dedicated donate route that does not make anyone read first.

It suits charities, NGOs, foundations and community organisations that run named campaigns, hold events and recruit volunteers alongside taking donations.

What the CMS gives you

Blog and event entries are held in Webflow CMS collections. Adding an entry means filling in fields rather than rebuilding a page, and it appears in the relevant listings automatically. For a site that gets updated regularly, this is the part that decides whether it stays current.

Volunteer recruitment is a real flow, not a mailto link

The join-as-a-volunteer form collects age, location and availability alongside contact details, which is what a coordinator actually needs to place someone. Most nonprofit templates stop at a contact form.

Campaigns, programmes and events are kept apart

A campaign has a target and an end date, a programme is ongoing, and an event has a time and a place. They are presented separately here rather than flattened into one list, with events held in their own CMS collection.

A where-the-money-goes section

The home page includes an expense breakdown block. Donor trust turns on this more than on any other section, and it is the one most templates leave out.

What this template does not do

It presents your cause and routes people to give. It does not process donations itself, manage recurring giving, issue tax receipts, run a donor CRM or handle gift aid and similar reclaim schemes. Those come from a donation platform or fundraising system, and the donate page connects to one. Charity registration numbers, fundraising rules and donor data protection are yours to comply with.

Who it is for

  • Charities and NGOs running named fundraising campaigns
  • Foundations presenting ongoing programmes alongside appeals
  • Community organisations recruiting volunteers as well as donors

Customising it

Blog posts and events are CMS entries. Campaign and programme pages are edited directly in the Designer. Style guide, licence and changelog pages are included.

If you would rather not do it yourself, our team can customise this template for you, from colour and content changes through to new pages and custom functionality. Request a Webflow template customization quote, or read more about our Webflow customization service.

Frequently asked questions

Does it process donations?

No. The donate page collects the request and hands off to your payment or fundraising platform. Recurring giving, receipts and reclaim schemes live there.

Can I run more than one campaign at a time?

Yes. Campaigns are presented separately from ongoing programmes, so both can run together without competing.

How does volunteer sign-up work?

A dedicated form collects age, location, availability and contact details, so a coordinator has enough to place someone.

Are events CMS-driven?

Yes, events are their own collection, so adding one is filling in fields.

Can I show how donations are spent?

Yes, the home page has a section for an expense breakdown.
